Cinta Senese ham has firm flesh and a bright red colour, with evident marbling and a considerable thickness of pinkish-white fat. The external aspect is non-convex, the paw has nails and/or black pigmentation, a peculiarity of the Cinta Senese breed. The peculiarity of the raw material used, the open-air breeding and the feeding, give the product an unmistakable quality and a unique taste.
Cinta Senese pork leg, salt, pepper, chilli pepper, garlic, sucrose, dextrose, natural flavourings. Surface treated with lard made from Cinta Senese pork fat. Antioxidant: ascorbic acid. Preservatives: potassium nitrate, sodium nitrite.
