The King of tomatoes: this is how the San Marzano tomato has been called in Italian and international cuisine. As many as 24 farmer members of DANIcoop are dedicated exclusively to the cultivation of San Marzano, in the areas protected by the DOP specification. It is a beloved tomato in all areas of the kitchen: the master pizza makers prefer it for their pizzas (particularly the Margherita); chefs use it for great Italian specialties, such as Neapolitan Ragù. Limited production.

Recommended preparations: Neapolitan pizza, especially pizza Margherita and Marinara; great sauces of the peasant and Italian tradition; Neapolitan ragout.
