Chardonnay is an internationally known white grape variety from the homonymous French municipality of Chardonnay, in Burgundy.
Its origins are not very clear, in Italy it is particularly widespread in Veneto, Friuli, Alto Adige and Trentino.
Straw-yellow colored wine with greenish reflections and soft perlage, the scent is elegant and delicate, reminiscent of the fragrance of bread crust and the freshness of green apple.
It is also dry, sapid and inviting to the taste.
Pairings: Excellent aperitif, or paired with light appetizers, fish in general and steamed vegetables.
